Description
The "Franco di Suni" National Autodrome, also known as the Mores Autodrome, is the only permanent circuit in Sardinia, designed to host car and motorcycle races in accordance with FIA, CSAI and FMI standards.
Born from the idea of entrepreneur and driver Uccio Magliona, it was built by his construction company following the design of engineer Pier Luigi De Biasio.
Despite the Magliona family's tradition in hill climbing, the circuit was conceived for track races, filling a void in motor sports in Sardinia. The island, due to its geographical position and focus on agriculture and herding, has always had difficulty developing this sector.
The circuit has boosted the regional development, hosting international events that combine sport and Sardinian culture.
Inaugurated on March 15, 2003, it is dedicated to Franco di Suni, a key figure in Sardinian motorsport.
