Description
The church of Santa Sabina, the parish church of Pattada, dates back to the 16th century and is dedicated to the patron saint of the town.
Built in Catalan Gothic style, it underwent restorations in the 18th and 20th centuries, including the reconstruction of the bell tower, which collapsed in 1907.
It was consecrated in 1941, while the main altar, made of marble, dates back to the late nineteenth century.
The church was reopened in 2018, with the delivery of the relics of Santa Sabina, and features two chapels dedicated to the Madonna of the Angels and the Holy Trinity.
The interior is characterized by a cross vault and a sixteenth-century wooden crucifix.
A bronze door enriches the facade.
