Description
The church, with a single nave and covered by a barrel vault, features spacious side chapels. Inside, a valuable wooden Baroque altar stands out, with the statue of the Virgin Mary at the center, overlooked by a canvas painting of the Eternal Father.
Also known as the Oratory of the Nostra Signora del Rosario, the church is located along the town's main street, just past the museum.
Built in the 17th century, it is home to the Confraternity of the Rosary, which organizes the solemn celebrations of Holy Week.
The exterior is characterized by a double staircase leading to the wooden portal of 1916, framed by semi-columns and decorated jambs. Above it, a niche houses the statue of the Madonna and Child, topped by a large window and a small bell tower with a metal cross.
Inside, the nave ends in a square apse with a raised presbytery and iron balustrade. It houses five altars and a wooden pulpit from the 17th century, in addition to paintings and statues dating between the 17th and 20th centuries.
