Description
The parish church of San Leonardo di Limoges, located in the center of the town, dates back to the 16th century, even though there is no actual documentation of its structure.
It features a plan with a single nave, side chapels, and a quadrangular presbytery. The original structure was significantly modified at the end of the 18th century, but it is still possible to appreciate the internal space, characterized by pointed transverse arches and side chapels accessible through ogival arches.
Two chapels preserve wooden polychrome altars from the 18th-century, one of which holds the statue of the Virgin of Interrios.
The facade was restored in 1960 and 1996 and features a "carabinier's lantern" topping. The space is delimited by corner pilasters, with horizontal frames and vertical pilasters in the two lower orders.
A simple portal is sided by a rectangular window.
