Description

The current parish church of Sant'Elena, built in Gothic style based on the design of engineer Cabella from Sassari, was consecrated in 1898.

The main altar was consecrated on May 28, 1916 by Mons. Cesarano.

The temple with three naves features the grandeur of monumental churches within, with a majestic series of 12 dark trachyte columns that demarcate the side chapels.

Since 1997 it has preserved the valuable retablo dating back to 1577 from the church of Coros.

The patron festival is celebrated on May 21 (popular) and August 18 (religious only).
