Description
The church dates back to the second half of the 17th century and features a gabled facade with double cornice, a linteled portal surmounted by a tympanum pediment with a late gothic lily.
To the left, there is a small bell tower.
The interior has a hall layout, with a square presbytery that is narrower and shorter. The nave is covered by a barrel vault with three pointed arches.
It contains statues related to the rites of the Holy Week: the Sorrowful Mother, the Holy Cross, ladders for the deposition; it also preserves the statues of Saint Rita and Saint Anthony of Padua.
Until 1886, the surrounding land was a cemetery.
Documents preserved in the parish archive, dated to 1700, attest to the existence of a male and female confraternity, which are no longer active today.
