Description
Built between 1400 and 1681, it is an important example of religious architecture in central Sardinia.
During the restoration in 1983, some arches in trachyte and original frescoes were discovered.
The bell tower from 1670 is the work of the Genoese Spotorno.
The interior houses a large retablo from the 16th century, attributed to the Master of Ozieri, depicting scenes such as the Crucifixion and the Invention of the Cross.
Moreover, a wooden statue of San Michele crushing the devil is preserved.
