Tancas Abertas

Established in 1886, it is one of the oldest state forests in Italy.

Within its boundaries, it includes various locations (Sa Fraigada, Su Tassu, Sa Pruna, etc) and archaeological sites that are easily accessible starting from the forest barracks on foot or with the aid of light vehicles.

The complex is equipped with numerous facilities for the welcome of tourists as well as various refreshment spots.

Dense settlements of holm oak alternate with cork oaks, forming extensive oases of intense green.
