Description
With its 7 hectares of extension in the territories between Bono and Bottidda, it is, in its kind, the largest forest in Sardinia. It falls within the state-owned area of M.te Pisanu.
Rich in water springs, in 1994 it was declared a natural monument of Sardinia for the presence of rare endemisms among which the bramble of Arrigoni.
The majesty of hundreds of centuries-old yews, along with beautiful hollies, maples, and holm oaks, make it a continuously visited destination, also thanks to the specially equipped rest areas.
