Description
The town of Romana is enriched by murals that animate the streets and make the walk suggestive.
The works, created by the Sardinian painter Tony Amos, pay tribute to the artist Brancaleone Cugusi, a native of the town. Among the reproductions, stand out "Young Man with a Raincoat", "Farmer in Green", and "The Seamstresses", characterized by realistic tones and scenes of everyday life.
Other murals depict agropastoral landscapes, such as a shepherd with his flock and a young man with a mule.
Scenes of popular life portray elderly people sitting along the street or a young woman at the fountain.
There are also images of local traditions, including religious processions with figures in traditional clothes.
