Tancas Abertas

In the location of Lucche, about 6 km from the town, near the homonymous nuraghe, there are three separate churches dedicated to the Madonna della Neve.

An undoubtedly ancient dating is a first sanctuary that has graceful forms and very small dimensions.

Attached to this and communicating with it, a new church was built in 1954 with larger dimensions and neo-Gothic lines.

Then, in the seventies, further uphill from the other two, a third sanctuary was built, with modern lines and quite imposing. Currently, it's the only one officiated.

Two festivals are celebrated, the day after Pentecost and on 5th August. Both record a large influx of believers and conclude with a large collective banquet.
