Description
The Aurora springs have been known since ancient times for the healing properties of their sulfuric-saline-bromine-iodine waters.
The Romans called them Aquae Lesitanae: the remains of a thermal station from the first century AD are present inside one of the two modern facilities that attract thousands of people for the treatment of respiratory and skin diseases.
Surrounded by greenery, the water pools (the temperature fluctuates between 34 and 43 degrees) have continued for centuries to be fed by underground veins.
