Description
The Via Ferrata della Regina runs along the north side of the rocky relief of Su Monte, following the wide wooded ledges that characterize it.
The route, about 600 meters long, alternates between equipped sections (300 meters in total) and simpler footpaths, with passages over rock at the beginning and end.
Despite being at a low altitude and close to an inhabited center, some sections are exposed or overhanging, making the route suitable for experienced hikers.
The via ferrata is classified as "difficult" due to the presence of an overhanging passage in the initial part.
In case of emergency, there are escape routes that lead to the panoramic road at the top of the relief. It is advisable to familiarize yourself with these before departure.
The cellular coverage is excellent throughout the entire route.
Facing north, the cliff receives sun only in the morning during spring-summer, while it remains in shade during the winter.
