Event Program: Itineraries in the Villages - Semestene (April 11-13, 2025)

The itinerant tourism event "Itineraries in the Villages" stops in Semestene from April 11 to 13, 2025, with a rich program of outdoor activities, culture, tradition, and gastronomy. A unique opportunity to discover the beauty and traditions of one of Sardinia's charming villages.

Friday, April 11:

• Morning: Traditional Sardinian games for children, organized by the Istituto Comprensivo di Pozzomaggiore, which will engage the little ones in fun activities in the alleys and squares of Semestene.

• Afternoon: Arrival of participants and welcome.

Saturday, April 12:

• 16:00: Activities for adults at the Social Centre. Craft workshops (weaving and textiles) and Urban Trekking in Semestene in small steps, guided by Antonio Sotgiu of the Progetto Foghiles.

• 17:00: Food and wine workshop at the Multi-purpose Centre, to discover the secrets of local cuisine.

• 20:00: Community dinner with typical dishes of the territory, followed by a debate and presentation of the project Sardinia on the road – Sardinia welcoming, organized by APS Camperisti Torres.

Sunday, April 13:

• 09:00: Cycling tour in the Mejlogu region, organized by Sardegna, Sport & Natura.

• 09:00: Guided excursion in the area of Semestene with archaeologist Luca Sanna, discovering the Nuraghe S’Iscolca.

• 11:00: Urban orienteering for families and small groups with Corrado Conca from Adventure Guide, to explore the history and places of Semestene in a curious and dynamic way.

• 13:00: Typical lunch based on pane zichi and pecora.

Information: All activities are free, but a contribution of 10 Euros per person is required for the Sunday lunch. Participation in activities requires mandatory reservation through the link: Reservations on Eventbrite.

For those arriving by camper: Free parking at the municipal parking area just steps from the center of Semestene.
