Tancas Abertas

The name "Chenamos in Carrela" reflects the convivial and community spirit of this event, which invites locals and visitors to share food and traditions in the streets of the village.

The event usually takes place during the summer, transforming the historic center of Villanova Monteleone into a large outdoor restaurant, where tables wind their way through the streets of the hamlet, creating a unique and evocative atmosphere.

The participants have the opportunity to taste typical dishes of Sardinian cuisine, prepared with local ingredients and according to traditional recipes. 

In addition to the gastronomic part, the event is enriched by a series of cultural events and entertainment, including performances of traditional Sardinian music, folk group performances, and exhibitions of local crafts.
