It is an event that blends history, culture, and religion, featuring historical reenactments where participants, dressed in the period’s attire with shining armor, are accompanied by a medieval setting in front of the majestic Cathedral of "San Pietro di Sorres," with traditional clothes and armor harking back to the past.
Today, the event has become an important celebration for the entire Meilogu region, with surrounding villages actively contributing to its organization year after year.
This shows that the time is finally ripe to properly celebrate the event’s decade-long history and to tell the story of the historic battle of Sorres to local communities.
