The "Ballos de Austu" celebrate the traditional Sardinian dance, a fundamental element of local culture and identity.
The "Ballos de Austu" of Nule is an international event that takes place every August to celebrate the traditional Sardinian dance, a fundamental element of the local culture and identity.
During the event, the streets and squares of Nule come alive with folk dances, accompanied by the music of typical Sardinian instruments such as the "launeddas" and the diatonic accordion.
The participants, dressed in traditional costumes, perform the ancient dances, such as "su ballu tundu" and "su passu torrau", passed down from generation to generation.
The event is an opportunity to discover the territory and admire, in dedicated exhibitions, the patterns and colors of the rugs, products of absolute excellence of the island's artistic craftsmanship.
